2020年6月29日至7月9日，由联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心（IKCEST）和西安交通大学联合主办，IKCEST丝路培训基地承办的第71期丝路工程科技发展专项培训在西安交通大学兴庆校区举行，共有来自西安交通大学的36名留学生参加培训，他们分别来自巴基斯坦、埃塞俄比亚等“一带一路”沿线国家。

The 71st IKCEST Training Programme for Silk Road Engineering Science and Technology Development themed on New Infrastructure Construction was held in Xingqing Campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University from June 29th to July 9th. It was co-hosted by the International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (IKCEST) under the Auspices of UNESCO and Xi’an Jiaotong University, and organized by IKCEST Silk Road Training Base. A total of 36 foreign students from Xi’an Jiaotong University participated in the workshop. They were from Belt-road countries such as Pakistan, Ethiopia and etc.

本次课程培训为期两周，由西安交大资深教授团队亲临授课，内容涵盖：第五代移动通信通讯系统与网络概述、机器人简介、大数据与深度学习简介、机器学习简介、高电压技术的过去、现在与未来、现代能源科学技术的现状及发展趋势、轨道交通技术发展动态、陕西——中国文化的发祥地等。教师用清晰生动的案例，对内容进行了深入浅出的讲解，兼备师生互动，参训学员受益匪浅。

The training programme lasted for about 2 weeks, and the following lectures such as 5G in a Nutshell, Brief Introduction to Robotics, Big Data Processing and Deep-learning, Introduction to Machine Learning, Past, Present and Future of High Voltage Engineering, Current Situation and Development Trend of Modern Energy Science and Technology, Development Trend of Rail Transit Technology, Shaanxi: Home to Chinese Civilization were given by the experienced professors in Xi’an Jiaotong University. The teachers gave clear, vivid examples to make the topics deep-going but easy to understand. The students benefited a lot from it and discussed with the teacher after the lectures.

目前，IKCEST丝路培训基地已举办71期“丝路工程科技发展专项培训”, 此次培训，作为丝路培训基地一项重要工作，将在培养丝路人才，服务国家“一带一路”倡议方面发挥重要的作用，同时，也为推动文化、科技、教育交流，为丝路沿线和欧亚非地区经济社会发展做出重要贡献。

Till now, the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base has successfully held 71 training programmes. This training programme, as an important work of IKCEST Silk Road Training Base, will play important role in training more talents for the Belt-road countries and better serving to the development of the Belt and Road Initiative. It also made important contributions to the economic and social development of European, Asian and African Belt-road countries and regions.

   联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心（简称“国际知识中心”“IKCEST”）是联合国教科文组织下属二类中心，2014年6月在北京成立，依托中国工程院建设，旨在面向世界各国尤其是发展中国家的政策制定者、广大工程科技工作者提供咨询、科研、教育等知识服务。2017年2月，国际知识中心依托西安交通大学，设立“IKCEST丝路培训基地”，为“一带一路”沿线国家培养工程科技人才。

The International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (shortened as “IKCEST”) is a category II centre under the auspices of UNESCO. IKCEST was established on June 2, 2014. The Chinese Academy of Engineering is responsible for the operation and management of the IKCEST. IKCEST aims at providing knowledge-based services at a global scale in the form of consultancies, scientific research and education for policy-makers and engineering science and technology professionals in the world, with particular reference to the developing countries. In February 2017, based in Xi'an Jiaotong University, IKCEST Silk Road Training Base was established, which aims to train more engineering and technological talents for Belt-Road countries.
