Introduction: Zhu Youyong (Nov, 16. 1955 - ), male, Han nationality, is a native of Gejiu, Yunnan Province, an expert in plant pathology and a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the College of Plant Protection, Yunnan Agricultural University in 1982 and received his doctorate degree from the China Agricultural University in 2000. He is currently the chairman of the Yunnan Association for Science and Technology (YAST), honorary vice-chancellor of the Yunnan Agricultural University and former vice-chancellor of the Yunnan Agricultural University.
