A series of lectures on COVID-19
Lecturer: 1st affiliated hospital of XJTU
Abstract: This course is one of a series of lectures on COVID-19. At present, the COVID-19 epidemic is spreading rapidly around the world, and can be characterized as a pandemic. This course first gives a brief introduction to the current global epidemic situation and the situation of COVID-19 in China to get you thinking, and briefly introduces the general information of the series of special lectures of COVID-19 for everyone to study in a targeted manner. Next, This course will popularize the knowledge of COVID-19 from different angles, and the content will be developed from the following aspects. First , it’s about COVID and its protection. In this part, you will learn the basic knowledge of COVID-19, the characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 virus that caused COVID-19, and personal protection measures. Second, it’s about characteristics of COVID-19 epidemic and containment measures have been taken. Third, it’s about humanistic care after the outbreak of COVID-19. Regarding the pressure and negative emotions caused by the epidemic on ordinary people, patients and medical workers, what measures should people, hospitals and governments take to release these emotions? In this part, you will get the answer. Fourth, it’s about the treatment of COVID-19. Responding to COVID, How does China do in terms of treatment location, treatment method, use of drugs, treatment of severe cases, etc.? What is the ICU treatment situation, ICU treatment strategy and the distribution situation of ICU treatment area? You will find the answer in this part. In the end of this course, differentiation of three kinds coronavirus pneumonia (SARS, MERS and COVID-19) will be introduced to deepen your understanding of COVID-19.
