2019年2月25日至3月6日,由联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心(IKCEST)和西安交通大学联合主办，IKCEST丝路培训基地承办的的第47期丝路工程科技发展专项培训在西安交通大学举行，共有来自西安交通大学、西北工业大学、长安大学、西安电子科技大学的200余名留学生参加了培训，他们分别来自巴基斯坦、埃塞俄比亚、哈萨克斯坦等四十余个“一带一路”沿线国家。

The 47th IKCEST Training Programme for Silk Road Engineering Science and Technology Development was held in Xi’an Jiaotong University from Feb. 25^th to March 6^th. It was co-hosted by the International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (IKCEST) under the Auspices of UNESCO and Xi’an Jiaotong University, and organized by IKCEST Silk Road Training Base. More than 200 foreign students from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Chang’an University and Xidian University registered for the workshop. They are from over 40 countries along the Silk Road, including Pakistan, Ethiopia, and Kazakhstan, etc.

本次培训课程为期八天，由西安交大资深教授团队亲临授课，内容涵盖：健康与经济增长和经济发展、金融投资决策：从风险度量到投资组合选择问题、金融问题技术分析及R语言、基于倾向得分匹配与倍差法的因果推断导论、金融工程、让机器自主学习、丝路经济带的历史与经济背景、中国春节与剪纸体验等内容。课上教师以授课为主，兼备师生互动为辅，同时开展线上线下交流互动。

The training programme lasted for about 8 days, and the following lectures such as The Role of Health in Economic Growth and Development, Financial Decision Making: From Risk Measure to Portfolio Selection Problems, Technical Analysis On Financial Problems Using R, An Introduction to Causal Inference using Propensity Score Matching and Difference-in-Differences Approaches, Financial Engineering, Let Machine Learn By Itself, and Historical and Economic Background of Silk Road Economic Belt, and Spring Festival and Chinese Paper-cut Experience were given by the experienced professors in Xi’an Jiaotong University. The teachers gave clear, vivid examples to make the topic deep-going but easy to understand. The students benefited a lot from it and discussed with the teacher after the lectures.

此外，为进一步加深留学生对中国经济发展的认识，此次培训专门设置了与课程专题相关的参观活动，于2月27日下午带领五十余名留学生参观了陆港集团。此次参观考察围绕在西安国际港务区的“吃、住、行、劳”四个方面，集中介绍园区临港产业发展、员工就业、住宿、就餐、文体娱乐等环境，加深留学生对国际港务区及陆港集团的了解，为后期培训合作及吸引“一带一路”优质留学生毕业后在国际港务区就业创业打好基础。

In addition, in order to deepen the students'’understanding of China’s economic development, the training set up special visits that closely related to the courses. On the afternoon of Feb. 27th, over 50 foreign students were led to visit Land Port Group. The visit focused on the four aspects of “eating, living, riding, and working"”in the Xi’an Land Port Group. The staff of the Xi’an Land Port Group gave a full introduction to the industrial development, staff employment, accommodation, dining, recreation and sports so that the students can have a better understanding of the Xi’an Land Port Group. Meanwhile, this visit laid a good foundation for the oversea students who would like to start their own business in Land Port Group after graduation.

目前，IKCEST丝路培训基地已举办47期“丝路工程科技发展专项培训”。此次培训，作为丝路培训基地一项重要工作，将在培养丝路人才，服务国家“一带一路”倡议方面发挥重要的作用，同时，也为推动文化、科技、教育交流，为丝路沿线和欧亚非地区经济社会发展做出重要贡献。

Till now, the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base has successfully held 47 training programmes. As an important mission of the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base, this training programme plays an important role in cultivating talents and promoting the Belt and Road Initiative，making important contributions to the economic and social development of Europe, Asia and Africa along Belt-road countries.

联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心（简称“国际知识中心”“IKCEST”）是联合国教科文组织下属二类中心，2014年6月在北京成立，依托中国工程院建设，旨在面向世界各国尤其是发展中国家的政策制定者、广大工程科技工作者提供咨询、科研、教育等知识服务。2017年2月，国际知识中心依托西安交通大学，设立“IKCEST丝路培训基地”，为“一带一路”沿线国家培养工程科技人才。

The International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (shortened as “IKCEST”) is a category II centre under the auspices of UNESCO. IKCEST was established on June 2, 2014. The Chinese Academy of Engineering is responsible for the operation and management of the IKCEST. IKCEST aims at providing knowledge-based services at a global scale in the form of consultancies, scientific research and education for policy-makers and engineering science and technology professionals in the world, with particular reference to the developing countries. In February 2017, based in Xi'an Jiaotong University, IKCEST Silk Road Training Base was established, which aims to train more engineering and technological talents for Belt-Road countries.
