2018年6月29日至6月30日，由联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心（IKCEST）、西安交通大学和西安电子科技大学联合主办，IKCEST丝路培训基地承办的第39期丝路工程科技发展专项培训在西安电子科技大学举行，共有来自西安电子科技大学的30余名在读本科生、研究生参加培训，他们分别来自自泰国、巴基斯坦、尼日利亚等“一带一路”沿线国家。

The 39th IKCEST Training Programme in Xidian University was held in Xidian University from June 29th to June 30th. It was co-hosted by the International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (IKCEST) under the Auspices of UNESCO，Xi’an Jiaotong University and Xidian University,  organized by IKCEST Silk Road Training Base. A total of over 30 foreign undergraduate and graduate students from Xidian University registered for the workshop. They are fromcountries along the Silk Road including Thailand, Pakistan, Nigeria, etc.

本期培训班的讲授语言为中文，以HSK3和HSK4为主题，内容设置上共分为HSK3语言点与词汇的讲练、HSK3听力部分专项讲练；HSK3阅读部分专项讲练；HSK3写作部分专项讲练、HSK3真题讲练；HSK4语言点与词汇的讲练、HSK4听力部分专项讲练；HSK4阅读部分专项讲练；HSK4写作部分专项讲练、HSK4真题讲练，课程讲座与互动兼备，同时还安排了去陕西省计量科学研究院的参观访问，让参与项目的国际学生即学到了知识，又让课堂不乏趣味性。

The program was taught in Chinese, focusing on the topic of “HSK 3 and HSK 4”. The workshop included such contents as Language Points & Vocabularies for HSK3, Listening Comprehension for HSK3, Reading Comprehension for HSK3, Writing Practice for HSK3, Comprehensive Practice for HSK3, Language Points & Vocabularies for HSK4, Listening Comprehension for HSK4, Reading Comprehension for HSK4,Writing Practice for HSK4, Comprehensive Practice for HSK4. Lectures and interactions between the courses allow foreign students who participate in the program to learn knowledge and make the class interesting. At the same time, the program arranged students’ visit to Shaanxi Institute of Metrology Science, which expanded students’ horizon.

目前，丝路培训基地已举办了39期“丝路工程科技发展专项培训”，共培养了来自90余个国家的两千余名留学生以及在华外向型企业人员。此次培训，作为丝路培训基地一项重要工作，将在培养丝路人才，服务国家“一带一路”倡议方面发挥重要的作用，同时，也为西安交大倡导发起的丝路大学联盟、国际丝路学院等一系列工作探索发展道路。

Till now, there have been 39 IKCEST Training Programmes for Silk Road Engineering Science and Technology Development, which have cultivated more than 2000 foreign students from more than 90 countries and export-oriented staff of Chinese Companies. As an important mission of the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base, this training programme plays an important role in cultivating talents and promoting “the Belt and Road Initiative”. In the meantime, it is also exploring the development direction for projects initiated by XJTU, such as University Alliance of the New Silk Road and Silk Road Academy.

联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心（简称“国际知识中心”“IKCEST”）是联合国教科文组织下属二类中心，2014年6月在北京成立，依托中国工程院建设，旨在面向世界各国尤其是发展中国家的政策制定者、广大工程科技工作者提供咨询、科研、教育等知识服务。2017年2月，国际知识中心依托西安交通大学，设立“IKCEST丝路培训基地”，为“一带一路”沿线国家培养工程科技人才。

The International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (shortened as “IKCEST”) is a category II centre under the auspices of UNESCO. IKCEST was established on June 2, 2014. The Chinese Academy of Engineering is responsible for the operation and management of the IKCEST. IKCEST aims at providing knowledge-based services at a global scale in the form of consultancies, scientific research and education for policy-makers and engineering science and technology professionals in the world, with particular reference to the developing countries. In February 2017, based in Xi'an Jiaotong University, IKCEST Silk Road Training Base was established, which aims to train more engineering and technological talents for Belt-Road countries.
